Rail-Veyor
Rail-Veyor is an innovative technology which uses automated trains on scalable, easy-to-install, light rail tracks. Rail-Veyor systems have unmatched energy efficiency and are very eco-friendly as Rail-Veyor systems produce no emissions. Lower than expected capital costs and very low operating costs allow for mining operations in locations which would otherwise be unprofitable due to challenging terrain or other accessibility difficulties. KWG and CCC are reviewing the usage of Rail-Veyor in two application – first, within the mining operations being planned in the Ring of Fire and, second, as the transportation system to move chromite and other minerals from the Ring of Fire to the CN eas/west mainline near Nakina, Ontario.
